AliExpress coupons explained
Last updated October 31, 2026
AliExpress has several kinds of discounts, and they don't all come from the same place. Here is what each one is, where to get it, and how they combine at checkout. Each rule links to the AliExpress help page it comes from; if AliExpress changes a rule, its page wins.
The types of discounts
| Type | What it is | Where to get it |
|---|---|---|
| Fixed discount | A lower price set on the product | Applied automatically, nothing to collect |
| Store coupon | Money off in one store, usually above a minimum spend | "Store Promotion" on the product page |
| Select coupon | Works in selected stores; can cover items from several of them that share the same minimum spend | Shown on eligible products and during campaigns |
| AliExpress coupon | A coupon from AliExpress itself, good across many stores | Handed out during big campaigns such as 11.11 and the Anniversary sale |
| Coupon code | A code you type in at checkout | AliExpress promotions and partners |
| Coins | Points earned in the AliExpress app | Redeemed in the app for coupons or a percentage off |

How they stack at checkout
Several discounts can apply to one order. AliExpress takes them off in this order:
- Discounted price
- Store fixed discount
- Store coupon
- Coins (app only)
- Select coupon
- AliExpress coupon or coupon code
- Fixed discount
Two things trip people up:
- Minimum spend counts the items only. Shipping and tax don't help you reach it.
- Each step works on the price left after the step before. A store coupon can push the subtotal below the minimum spend of a later coupon, which then won't apply.
Your coupons are under Account → Coupons, and the order confirmation page shows which ones were applied before you pay.

Why a coupon code doesn't work
- The order is below the code's minimum spend.
- The code is limited to certain products or certain users (for example new users only).
- All codes have been claimed, or you have used it the maximum number of times.
- The code has expired.

Coins
Coins are collected in the AliExpress app. At the time of writing they can be exchanged for fixed-value coupons, a percentage off an order, or special one-cent items, and they only apply in the app.

New-user offers
New accounts usually get a welcome offer. For example, for the 11.11 festival of November 1–18, 2026, AliExpress announced three qualifying items for $0.99 for new users in the US. Offers like this change from sale to sale, so check the current terms in the app.
