AliExpress shipping to the US

Last updated October 31, 2026

Shipping cost, delivery time and import charges can change the real price of an AliExpress order more than any coupon. Here is what to check before you pay.

Delivery options

Sellers choose which shipping methods they offer, and you pick one at checkout. Options range from economy postal services to express carriers such as UPS, FedEx and DHL; faster methods cost more. The checkout page shows the estimated delivery date for the method you pick.

Choice items

Products marked Choice come with AliExpress's own delivery terms. In 2024 AliExpress said Choice orders ship free in most of its markets above a minimum order (then $10) or with three or more Choice items, and in its 11.11 2026 announcement it mentioned free shipping and returns on eligible Choice items. Tracking

Tracking can take up to 11 days to show updates after the seller ships, especially with economy methods. No updates in the first week usually isn't a problem yet.

Import duties and taxes

Until August 2025, US shipments worth $800 or less could enter without duties under the "de minimis" exemption. That exemption is suspended for all countries since August 29, 2025, so applicable duties, taxes and fees now apply to low-value parcels too.

How you pay depends on the order:

Sales tax

AliExpress collects state sales tax on orders shipped to states where the law requires it, and shows it at checkout.

Before you pay

Compare the total at checkout (items, shipping, import charges, sales tax) with what the item costs elsewhere, and note the delivery estimate: the dispute window depends on it. See buyer protection.
